Haircuts -
The staff at the Hair Nook has the latest knowledge on all hair cutting techniques. We also offer razor cuts. We design the hairstyle that is right for you!
Colors -
We use Redken color gels and redken color shades in semi-permanent colors. After trying a few different color lines, we think we have found the best! Redken works well with hard to cover grey, it is very shiny, provides great reds and long lasting tones in the hair. Let us pick the right color for you! We also have Matrix's newest color line, "Red Lights". These hi-lites are very vibrant and last a lot longer than the average reds. All atylists are expereinced with the latest foil coloring techniques.
Waxing
- Removal of unwanted body hair with a clean and easy waxing system. This usually lasts about 3-5 weeks. Retards hair growth over a number of times waxing.
Pedicures - revive your tired feet, enjoy a
massage, callous removal and polish of your choice.
Chemical Hair Relaxing
- is a great service for maturally wavy hair. The hair cuticle is broken down until it's seen to the eye as almost perfectly straight. We condition the hair afterwards to send you home with the healthiest hair possible. We do not use perm solution to acheive this look. We have specially formulated hair relaxer and the coordinating shampoo to take out all of the product correctly. Only the best conditioner is used to close the cuticle and release it back to its natural state.
Manicures - Soothe your hands with a complete manicure
plus a warm paraffin bath to ensure the deep penetration of luxurious essential oils.
Ear Piercing - Carolyn Greenwald and Mandy are fully
trained to pierce ears. All our products are sterilized very carefully. We have a variety of earings to pick from.
Permanent Waves - We use Matrix and Quantum perms and
choose the best perm to suit your hair type. We analize and take extra precautions before we perm. Our perms are very gentle and conditioning on the hair.
Scalp Massage - Experience a relaxing 20 minute
massage from the top of your head down to your neck and shoulders, along with a deep conditioning treatment, top it all off with shampoo a hairstyle. What a relaxing experience.

Eyelash/Eyebrow Tinting - Eyelash/eyebrow tinting gives
color to your eyelashes, brown or black which looks like permanent natural looking mascara. Lasts approximately 4-6 weeks.
Facials - A deep cleansing of your pores, fresh steamed towels to revitalize
your skin, and a special moisturizing treatment that will leave your skin feeling refreshed and renewed.
Caralot Wigs - Shannon will help cancer patients with a wig
fitting that's just right and design a haircut that will naturally look like yourself. We are a non-profit organization. We do this out of the goodness of our hearts.
Gel Nails - Gel nails are very natural looking. The
gel is cured under a special light system. Our Gel Nails are non-yellowing and have a high-gloss shine. A beautiful full set of nails takes approximately 2 hrs to apply. Your nails will need to be filled about 3-4
weeks after the application, filling your nails will create strength and shape. This takes about an hour.
Make-Up - We have 3 professional make-up technicians on staff with the latest
training and techniques to enhance your best features.
Tanning -
